Kindergarten-Fairytale Fun
Students are immersed in the world of fairy tales! Students will read a variety of popular fairy tales and engage in hands-on experiences to increase their understanding of the stories. Through interactive games, artwork and activities students will practice identifying rhyming words, determine the main character within a text, practice making predictions and much more!

1st Grade-Animals & Habitats
This literacy-focused unit on Animals and Habitats uses reading, writing, and storytelling to help first graders explore the natural world. Students will engage with nonfiction texts, participate in read-alouds, and use descriptive language to create their own imaginary animals and habitats—building both science knowledge and literacy skills through rich, cross-curricular  activities.

2nd Grade-Ready, Set, Adventure!
In this fiction-based literacy unit, second grade students will dive into the theme of adventure by reading and discussing imaginative stories filled with exciting journeys, brave characters, and unexpected discoveries. Through carefully selected fiction texts,students will  strengthen their reading comprehension, narrative writing, and listening skills. Activities will focus on identifying story elements, building vocabulary, and crafting
original adventure stories. Students will listen to read-alouds, engage in shared reading and discussions, and explore what it means to go on an adventure—both in books and in their own imaginations.
