WonderSpace EDU: Enhancing Education Through Play

Play is a transformative tool for education. WonderSpace EDU provides hands-on, play-based opportunities for students in Grant County through field trips, after school programming, and other events.

“Light Up Your Imagination” is a weekly interactive story time offered during indoor playdates on Tuesday’s at 11 am. Come join us!
In the Spring and the Fall, we offer an after school play-based literacy program for students in the community. This program is offered in partnership with Indiana Wesleyan University’s School of Teacher Education. Overseen by our Education Coordinator, pre-service teachers have the opportunity put theory into practice as they work with youth in the community.

Wildcat Kids

Wildcat Kids is a field trip offered in the Spring to all third graders in Grant County. This field trip provides play-based opportunities for students to learn about the concepts of Force and Motion. WonderSpace EDU collaborates with Indiana Wesleyan to host this event

Onsite Events

WonderSpace EDU offers a variety of on-site events at College Wesleyan Church throughout the year such as the annual Stuffie Sleepover in December!

Community Partnerships

WonderSpace EDU partners with a variety of local organizations to promote educational initiatives in the community.

WonderSpace EDU will partner trained volunteers with K-2 nd grade teachers in
Grant County to bring evidence-based literacy instruction to their classrooms.
