Lament

In the Christian tradition, lament is the practice of bringing our sadness, questions, anger, and pain honestly to God. Through prayers, songs, stories, and conversation, children and families can learn that God welcomes their grief and stays close to them in suffering. Lament reminds us that we do not have to hide our hurt or carry it alone.
